Key findings

What the data actually supports, not the highlight reel.

Growth has two distinct eras. 42 of 151 followers (28%) arrived in a single burst in H1 2023 — almost certainly the page's early launch/network-invite window. Growth then went nearly dormant for two years (H2 2023–H2 2024: 8 followers combined across 18 months) before reaccelerating sharply from H1 2025 onward (7 → 12 → 16 → 66-and-counting per half-year). The current growth phase is real and recent, not a continuation of the 2023 launch spike.

The audience is shallow-network, not core-network. Only 8 followers (5%) are 1st-degree connections. 95% are 2nd or 3rd degree — people who found the page through shares, group overlap, or algorithmic surfacing rather than a direct personal tie. This matters for messaging: most of the audience doesn't already know TXproducts and needs context, not insider shorthand.

Where a sector is identifiable, it clusters hard around synchrotron/photonics research. Of the 131 followers with an identifiable employer, 58 (44%) sit inside academic/national-research institutes (DESY-affiliated orgs, Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, Max Planck Institute, Fraunhofer, Max Born Institute, several universities, a Harvard Business School MBA candidate, a Technical University of Chemnitz student, and now a University of Wisconsin-Madison professor, four Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin researchers (a postdoc, a doctoral researcher in advanced ceramics/2D materials, an experimental materials scientist, and a professor), an ESRF synchrotron scientist, a Synchrotron SOLEIL detector scientist, a Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf innovation manager, a DESY student research assistant, a DESY/University of Kiel Group Leader, a DESY dep. CTO, a DESY communications & marketing professional, a TUHH/DASHH Ph.D. candidate, a Hannover optical-technologies research assistant, an Inha University professor, a Università di Trento Ph.D. student, two University of Hamburg Master's students, another DESY research assistant, a DESY Projektträger science manager, a DESY physicist, and an Istanbul Technical University business development partner) and another 9 (7%) work at dedicated photonics/laser companies (Class 5 Photonics, Coherent, WiredSense, Living Optics, Lace Lithography, X-Spectrum, Cycle GmbH, LANO Photonics, and now a second X-Spectrum detector engineer), plus a new semiconductor-reliability startup founder (XDefine) and a Bharat Electronics Limited defense-electronics general manager. Together that's 51% of everyone with a known employer — the follower base looks like TXproducts' actual customer/partner ecosystem, not a generic marketing audience.

A visible Hamburg/DESY micro-cluster — spanning nine external institutions. Two rounds of profile enrichment nearly doubled this signal: DESY (any form) now has 14 linked entries, University of Hamburg 5, Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung 4, and five more institutions cross the 2-follower threshold — Class 5 Photonics (2), Impossible Founders (2), Start-Up Labs Hamburg (2), WAIV-FTIR (2), X-Spectrum GmbH (2, newly crossing the threshold), and Hamburg University of Technology/TUHH (3). 35 distinct followers (27% of the 131 named-company followers) now trace to this local ecosystem, up from 12 before this round of detective work. Separately, a non-Hamburg research cluster is forming at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (now 4 followers), tracked in the Notable Clusters exclusion note below since it's Berlin-based, not part of the Hamburg/DESY ecosystem. (TXproducts itself now has 5 followers — our own CEO, our Marketing & Sales Manager, and three internal team members (a Software Developer, a Data Governance Consultant, and a Product Engineer) — but that's an expected internal signal, not part of the external-ecosystem story, so it's tracked separately below.) This reads like real-world event/conference overlap, not organic reach.

Seniority is bimodal, not junior-heavy. 35 followers (23%) hold C-level/Founder, Director/Head/Principal, or Senior IC/Lead titles — a notably senior slice for an organic Page audience, including an Infineon Austria CEO, a US professor, a Turkey-based university Partner, a DESY/University of Kiel Group Leader, a DESY dep. CTO, an Inha University professor, a semiconductor-startup founder, a Bharat Electronics Limited general manager, and a Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin professor — while 22 (15%) are students/trainees or postdoc/PhD researchers. The middle (managers, individual-contributor engineers and researchers) makes up the bulk. Content aimed only at practitioners will miss around a quarter of the audience that's decision-making seniority.

Limitation: data completeness is the real limiting factor here. 20 of 151 followers (13%) list no company at all, and 20 (13%) have no usable title (tagline-only or blank LinkedIn profiles). Every breakdown in this report is a share of what's knowable, not of all 151 — treat every percentage as directional, not exhaustive.

What this means for messaging

The bottom line for anyone writing or approving TXproducts content, distilled from the findings above.

Don't assume brand familiarity.

95% of followers are 2nd/3rd-degree connections — most don't already know who TXproducts is. Posts that lean on insider shorthand or assume prior context will lose most of the audience. Lead every post with what TXproducts does, not just what it's doing.

Write for two audiences in the same post.

24% hold C-level/Director/Senior IC titles while 14% are students/trainees or postdoc/PhD researchers — a genuinely bimodal?Bimodal = the data has two separate peaks (here: senior leaders AND students) instead of one typical middle-heavy cluster — the opposite of a normal bell curve. audience. Pair a strategic/business-value framing (for decision-makers) with real technical detail (for practitioners) rather than picking one register.

This is a Hamburg audience, not a global one.

Location detective work on all 131 named companies confirms it: 65% are based in Germany, and 36% are specifically Hamburg-based (DESY in its various forms, Uni Hamburg, TUHH, Class 5 Photonics, WiredSense, WAIV-FTIR, Impossible Founders, Cycle GmbH, Start-Up Labs Hamburg). Content should assume a local, ecosystem-aware reader by default — not write for a generic global LinkedIn audience.

Today's audience is not the 2023 launch cohort.

69% of followers joined after the original 2023 launch spike, including 57% of the entire audience in just the last ~13 months (H2 2025 onward), after a 2-year dormant stretch in between. Messaging built around "who followed us at launch" is out of date — the growth happening right now is the audience to design for.

Ideas & tips for reach

Concrete next steps, each one traceable back to the messaging implications above rather than generic LinkedIn advice.

Lean into the Hamburg/DESY identity on purpose. With 37% of the knowable audience already Hamburg-based, tagging and naming DESY, Uni Hamburg, TUHH, and named local partners (Class 5 Photonics, Impossible Founders, Start-Up Labs Hamburg) in posts should out-perform generic industry hashtags — the audience already recognizes these names.

Turn 2nd-degree reach into 1st-degree relationships. Only 5% of followers are 1st-degree connections. A short campaign of direct connection requests or comments to the most senior/relevant 2nd-degree followers (the 24% at Director+ level — now including an Infineon Austria CEO and a US professor) converts passive followers into an active network faster than posting alone.

Post more, now, while the reacceleration is live. 49% of all followers arrived in just the last ~13 months (H2 2025 onward), after a 2-year dormant stretch — this is a compounding-growth window, not a steady-state one. Increasing posting frequency now captures more of the current momentum than maintaining a flat cadence.

Alternate technical and executive content deliberately. Don't default to one register — Research/Engineering readers (38%) want real technical substance; the C-level/Director segment (25%) wants strategic/ROI framing. A simple weekly rotation (one technical post, one business-value post) covers both without diluting either.

Treat the clustered organizations as warm partnership doors. Eight institutions now have 2 or more employees following independently — DESY (6), University of Hamburg (3), Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung (4), Class 5 Photonics, Impossible Founders, Start-Up Labs Hamburg, WAIV-FTIR, and TUHH (2 each). That's a signal worth direct outreach for co-marketing or a tagged joint post, not just organic hope.

Design a specific track for the student/trainee segment. 13% of followers are students or trainees — a distinct content type (internship pipeline, academic collaboration spotlights) speaks directly to them instead of being talked past by practitioner-level content.

New followers gained per half-year. The 2023 launch spike and the 2025–2026 reacceleration are the two moments worth explaining to the boss.

Geography — of the 131 followers with a company (fully resolved)

Follow-up detective work: every one of the original 14 "unverified" companies was individually researched (web lookups) and located, and subsequent rounds of profile re-screenshotting have now identified an employer for 35 more previously-blank followers. Every one of the 131 named companies now has a country assigned — 112 at High confidence, 19 at Medium (including "Aqua Group," resolved via a screenshot showing the exact legal name "AQUA GROUP GmbH" plus the follower's own location in Greater Munich, matching a real Holzkirchen-based German company). Full results (country, city/site, confidence) are written back into the source spreadsheet as three columns, plus a fourth "Personal Location (from profile)" column now filled for 118 of 151 followers.

Limitation: "Company Country" reflects the employer's HQ, not the individual's personal location, and the two can differ — e.g. Rajkumar Rengaraj is personally Germany-based (Aachen) but his employer is Swiss; conversely several followers here work for Germany/Hamburg-HQ organizations while personally based in the UK, Norway, India, or Sweden, Hitesh Dudhagara is personally in Surat, Gujarat while his listed university affiliation resolves to Rajkot, and Sinan Bubik is personally in Munich, Germany while his employer (ITU) is Turkey-based. Maximilian F. is personally in the Zürich Metropolitan Area while his employer's Swiss site is in Baden, Aargau, Antonio Cillis is personally in Berlin while his employer (INFOMOTION GmbH) is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, and Svenja Hövelmann is personally in Wedel while her employer (X-Spectrum GmbH) is headquartered in Hamburg. The 65% Germany / 36% Hamburg figures describe where employers are headquartered, not necessarily where the 131 people physically are — treat this chart as an ecosystem-affiliation signal, not a literal map of the audience.

Messaging takeaway: 65% of named-company followers are affiliated with a Germany-headquartered organization, and 36% specifically with a Hamburg one (DESY in its various forms, Uni Hamburg, TUHH, Class 5 Photonics, WiredSense, WAIV-FTIR, Impossible Founders, Cycle GmbH, Start-Up Labs Hamburg). This is fundamentally a regional-ecosystem audience, not a global one — local events, DESY-adjacent news, and Hamburg startup-scene references will resonate far more than internationally-generic content, even for the followers who don't personally live there.

Notable organizational clusters

Named organizations appearing more than once in the 131 followers with company data — the strongest evidence of a real-world ecosystem effect rather than coincidence. This table nearly doubled after the latest rounds of profile re-screenshotting: from 5 institutions/12 distinct people to 8 institutions/22 distinct people. (Umicore also now has 2 followers, but it's a Belgian materials company with no Hamburg/DESY tie, so it's excluded from this specific table — coincidental multinational overlap, not local-ecosystem clustering. ITCareerHub.de, a German IT-retraining bootcamp, now has 3 followers (Almira Tolstova, Anna Maksakova, added 2026-08-10; Helena Krutošíková, added 2026-10-21) — excluded for the same reason: a real 2-follower cluster, but a career-training platform unrelated to the Hamburg/DESY photonics ecosystem this table specifically tracks. Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin now has 4 followers (a postdoc, a doctoral researcher, an experimental materials scientist, and a professor) — a genuine, growing research-institute cluster, but excluded for the same reason as Umicore/ITCareerHub: it's Berlin-based, not part of the Hamburg/DESY local ecosystem this table specifically tracks. ESRF, HZDR, and ITU, all added 2026-08-03, are each single-follower institutions so far — not yet part of this table, though ESRF in particular is another major synchrotron facility peer to DESY, reinforcing the sector-clustering pattern even as a standalone entry.)

Every organization in this table resolved to Hamburg, Germany in the geography lookup below, except Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, which resolves to Berlin — it's included here as a notable multi-follower institution, not as part of the Hamburg-specific geography figures elsewhere in this report. Row counts sum to 36 because one follower (Timo Christian) carries a dual affiliation across rows, both DESY-linked and Impossible Founders — the distinct headcount is 35, matching the 27% figure quoted above. (Marc Thiry, the University of Hamburg row's other dual-affiliate, is only in that one row, his company field names Hi-Acts and Universität Hamburg but not DESY directly, so he's not double-counted.)

Methodology & caveats

How this was built: every one of the 103 rows was individually classified into Seniority, Function, and Sector by keyword rules run against the free-text job title and company fields, then spot-checked (one substring bug was caught and fixed mid-analysis: "Coordinator" was initially misread as containing "COO"). Geography was deliberately not inferred from personal names, since that would be guessing at nationality rather than reading data — it was assigned only from each named organization's actual, verifiable location. An initial pass confidently placed 31 of the 45 named companies; the remaining 14 were individually researched via web lookups in a follow-up pass, resolving all but one ("Aqua Group" — a generic name shared by several unrelated companies worldwide, not identifiable from a job title alone). The full country/city results are written back into the source spreadsheet (`manual_followers_list_2026-07-22.xlsx`) as three new columns, with a confidence rating (High/Medium/Unresolved) on every row so a future reader can see which locations were a direct match versus a reasoned best-fit.

Incremental update (2026-07-29): one new follower, Marc Thiry (2nd degree, headline "Advanced analytical methods for materials science," followed July 2026), was added to the spreadsheet and run through the same keyword rules as everyone else — no company listed, so he mechanically classifies as Seniority: Other Individual Contributor, Function: Other, with the headline's "materials science" phrase flagging him as sector-adjacent to research/photonics even without a named employer, consistent with how a handful of other no-company profiles were handled.

Incremental update (2026-07-30): a second new follower, Orkun Aydin (3rd degree, "PhD in Biophysical Chemistry | Engineering physicist | Specialized in Instrumentation & Innovation," listing a dual affiliation with Umeå Plant Science Centre (UPSC) and Uppsala University), was added the same way — mechanically classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute. This is the first Sweden-based follower in the dataset, resolved with high confidence (both institutions are well-established and unambiguous), though the profile screenshot didn't show an explicit "Followed" date the way the all-followers list view does — the Followed month is assumed to be July 2026 (today's date) rather than confirmed; flag if that's wrong so the growth-timeline bucket can be corrected.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, second addition): a third new follower, Rajkumar Rengaraj (3rd degree, "Application Engineer at Evatec AG," profile also showing Beneq and RWTH Aachen University), was added — mechanically classifies as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, and (after adding "evatec" to the same semiconductor-equipment keyword list already used for ASML) Semiconductor/Aerospace/Defense. His profile explicitly states a personal location (Aachen, Germany) distinct from his employer's HQ (Trübbach, Switzerland) — the first row with directly-stated personal location data, now captured in its own spreadsheet column rather than conflated with company geography. Same Followed-month assumption (July 2026, unconfirmed) applies.

Enrichment batch (2026-07-30): rather than only adding new followers, the user began re-screenshotting existing profiles to fill in gaps the original bulk export missed. Eight already-listed followers were re-captured with fuller profile views, and four of them (Marc Thiry, Alexej Kotelnikov, Benedikt Kubicki, Brahim Al) had a real employer for the first time — previously blank "Company" fields, not previously-unresolved ones. New companies were verified the same way as before (web lookups, not guesses): Bosch Automotive Service Solutions GmbH (Plochingen, Germany), SI PRO GmbH (HQ Mannheim, with a Hamburg office), and Brahim Al's "T.B.S biomedicale" matched to TBS Group, a French pan-European biomedical-engineering services company — he's personally Germany-based per his profile, likely at a local branch, so his row is marked Medium confidence rather than High. Marc Thiry's affiliation turned out to be Hi‑Acts (the Helmholtz Innovation Platform for Accelerator-based Technologies and Solutions, co-founded by DESY) plus Universität Hamburg — both fold directly into the existing Hamburg/DESY cluster. This pass also caught a small pre-existing bug: the "12 of 45/47 named-company followers" cluster claim in earlier versions of this report was a naive sum of the five institution rows, which double-counts anyone with a dual affiliation (Timo Christian appeared in both the DESY row and the Impossible Founders row). The correct distinct-follower count was, and remains, 12 — now clearly labeled as such rather than implied to be additive. Four more profiles (Tamadur AlBaraghtheh, Katrin Boeke-Purkis, Timo Christian, Jan-Christian Schober) had their company confirmed unchanged but gained a directly-stated Personal Location.

Enrichment batch (2026-07-30, full sweep): the user then re-screenshotted essentially every remaining follower in one pass — 47 profiles in total. 20 previously-blank "Company" fields were filled for the first time (company-listed jumped from 51 to 71 of 101), and 55 of 101 followers now have a directly-stated Personal Location, up from 3. This closed the dataset's single biggest gap and reshaped several findings materially rather than marginally:
• The Hamburg/DESY cluster nearly doubled: from 12 distinct followers across 5 institutions to 20 distinct followers across 8 institutions (adding Start-Up Labs Hamburg, WAIV-FTIR, and Hamburg University of Technology/TUHH as newly-qualifying 2+ clusters, and DESY itself growing from 4 to 6 linked entries).
• "Aqua Group" — the one company that had resisted resolution since the very first geography pass — was finally identified: a new screenshot showed Thomas Fleschhut's card with the exact legal name "AQUA GROUP GmbH" and his own location as Greater Munich, matching a real Holzkirchen-based German company (water/fire-damage restoration services) on public company registries. Marked Medium confidence rather than High, since the name in isolation is still generic.
• New companies were verified the same way as always — a real web lookup per company, not a guess — including several more with direct Hamburg/DESY ties: IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH (the City of Hamburg's own startup investment arm), Cycle GmbH (literally on the DESY campus, Start-Up Labs Bahrenfeld), Start-Up Labs Hamburg itself (2 followers), and a direct "DESY" affiliation for a follower personally based in Delhi, India — taken at face value from the profile rather than treated as suspicious, since a remote or visiting DESY affiliation is entirely plausible.
• The new Personal Location data surfaced a real methodological wrinkle worth flagging rather than smoothing over: several followers are personally based somewhere other than their employer's HQ (a Coherent engineer living in the UK, not Pennsylvania; a Leonardo engineer living in Edinburgh, not Rome; a Jülich researcher living in Aachen). The Geography chart and its "Germany/Hamburg" percentages describe employer affiliation, not a literal map of where the audience lives — both are real signals, but they are not the same signal, and this report now says so explicitly rather than conflating them.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, 101→103): the real LinkedIn follower count moved on independently of this audit, so two more followers were added the same way as always — Branislav Fabik (no connection degree shown, "NPI and production engineer" at XIMEA, personally in Bratislava, Slovakia; XIMEA's R&D and production site is confirmed nearby in Marianka/Zohor, so Slovakia is used rather than assuming a generic global HQ) and Muhammad Yousaf (no connection degree shown, "Deputy Manager taxation" at Vital Group, personally in Islamabad, Pakistan; Vital Group is a generic name shared by several unrelated Pakistani companies, so this row is Medium confidence, not High). Neither profile screenshot showed an explicit follow date — both assumed July 2026, unconfirmed. Neither is Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked, so that finding is unchanged in absolute terms but its share shifted slightly against the larger denominator (73 named-company followers, not 71).

Incremental update (2026-07-30, targeted re-checks): five already-listed followers were individually re-screenshotted and closed real gaps. Dr. Jefferson do Rosário's company was confirmed as DESY directly (Head of Business Development Office), adding a 7th entry to the DESY cluster. Daniel Schmidt — previously tagline-only — turned out to be TXproducts' own CEO (Tech & Finance), per the user directly rather than his LinkedIn headline ("Enabling science!"), based in Greater Hamburg. Mckinley Black (the Page admin, "You") was confirmed as TXproducts' own Marketing & Sales Manager, personally based in Berlin, Germany — the company itself remains Hamburg-based, so this is flagged as a personal-location/employer-HQ split like several others in this report. Christelle Kwamen's employer was confirmed as Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, California) — verified against the actual Intel logo shown on her profile, not assumed from the name alone; "intel" was added to the same semiconductor-company keyword list as ASML and Evatec. Sadegh Mahvidi's employer, "Paint-Inspector.Com," was verified as a real ISO 9001-certified paint/coatings inspection consultancy headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic, matching his own Zlín-area location. TXproducts itself now has 3 followers (CEO, Marketing & Sales Manager, and one engineer) — tracked separately from the external-ecosystem cluster since employees following their own company page isn't the same signal as external organizations clustering organically.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, two more re-checks): Dr. Eleni Mumtsidu's employer was confirmed as SGS — the Geneva-headquartered testing/inspection/certification multinational (~99,000 employees, one of the largest LinkedIn company pages in the world, which is what prompted the check) — while she's personally based in Greater Hamburg. Antonina Berkivska's employer was confirmed as Negentrix, based in Berlin, per the user directly; she's personally based in Austria, another personal-location/employer-HQ split. Neither is Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, one more re-check): Dominique Elser's tagline ("Quantum Networks") turned into a real title and employer, per the user directly: Group Leader for Quantum Networks (part-time) at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Erlangen, Bavaria — also her personal location. This prompted a small classifier fix: "max planck" had been missing from the same research-institute keyword list as DESY, Helmholtz, and Fraunhofer, so her employer was mechanically falling into "Other named company" instead of Academia/Research Institute; checked for side effects (no other row's Company field contains "max planck") before applying it. Her Function still classifies as "Other," not Research/Science — "Group Leader" and "Quantum Networks" don't match any function keyword, an honest mechanical limitation rather than a manual override.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, one more re-check): Anna Bujak's employer was confirmed as Umicore, per the user directly (her profile only showed Technische Universität Darmstadt, presumably education rather than current employer) — the same Belgium-HQ Umicore already in this dataset via Michelle Kötter, now a 2-follower company though not part of the Hamburg/DESY cluster story (it's a Belgian materials company, not local ecosystem overlap, so it's not added to the Notable Clusters table below). She's personally based in Wrocław, Poland.

Incremental update (2026-07-30, four more re-checks): Emma Xia's employer was confirmed as LANO Photonics Co., Ltd, Changchun, Jilin, China (her headline "Leader in Optical Manufacturing... Camera and Lens Production" plus her own contact emails at lanoptico.com match the company exactly) — the first China-based follower in this dataset, and "lano photonics" was added to the same Photonics/Laser/Optics keyword list as Class 5 Photonics and Coherent. Mårten Edwards' tagline resolved to a real title and employer, per the user directly: Innovation & R&D Consultant at Edwards Science & Technology AB, Uppsala, Sweden (an "AB" company, likely his own consultancy given the shared surname). Mudabar Ahmad Mubashar's employer was confirmed as Canon EMEA, working specifically at Canon's Dresden, Germany site (a semiconductor/nanofabrication-equipment role, per his headline's Vacuum Technology/PVD/UHV/Semiconductors focus) — "canon" was added to the same semiconductor-equipment keyword list as ASML, Evatec, and Intel. Martin Schröter's tagline ("Entrepreneurial chemist") resolved to Co-Founder & CBO of SURFACtoBioTech, Hamburg, Germany, per the user directly.

Incremental update (2026-08-03, 103→108): five new followers were added from freshly-screenshotted profiles and classified the same way as every prior addition. Milena Petković (2nd degree, "Head of Research Group | AI/ML, Computational Modeling & Optimization for Complex Systems" at Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, Berlin) mechanically classifies as Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute — she's the 4th follower at IKZ, joining Head of PR, Head of Strategic Science Mgmt, and Group Leader. Paul Evans (2nd degree, "Professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison," also listing Harvard University, personally in Madison, Wisconsin) classifies as Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute — the first University of Wisconsin-Madison follower and only the 6th United States-based follower overall. Sabine E. Herlitschka (2nd degree, Chief Executive Officer of Infineon Technologies Austria AG, personally in Austria) classifies as C-Level/Founder, Executive/Management, Semiconductor/Aerospace/Defense (Infineon added to the same semiconductor keyword list as ASML, Evatec, Intel, and Canon) — and is the first Austria-based follower to reach 2 in that country (a from-2023 follower was already Austria-based but unnamed in the Geography "Other" bucket), so Austria now gets its own row instead of folding into "Other." Simone Vadilonga (2nd degree, Postdoctoral Research Associate at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, also listing Freie Universität Berlin, personally in Berlin Metropolitan Area) classifies as Postdoc/PhD researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute. Hitesh Dudhagara (3rd degree, a tagline-only profile built around diamond-solutions marketing copy rather than a real job title, listing Saurashtra University, personally in Surat, Gujarat) classifies as Unknown seniority/function — consistent with how other tagline-only-but-company-listed profiles are handled — but Academia/Research Institute for sector, since a university is still a real, identifiable employer even without a usable title; his employer's actual campus (Rajkot, Gujarat) differs from his personal location (Surat, Gujarat), the first India-based entry in this dataset. None of the five are Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked. All five initially assumed a "Followed" month of August 2026 (this update's date), since none of the five profile-page screenshots showed an explicit follow date — see the correction immediately below, which revised three of these five.

Date correction (2026-08-03, same-day): a discrepancy surfaced between the Directory's count (108) and the dashboard's independently-tracked cumulative follower count (107, capped at Aug 1 data) — investigated by diffing the Location breakdown between a July 28 export (pre-dating this update) and the newest August 3 export, isolating exactly which categories changed across the dashboard's already-recorded July 30 (+3) and July 31 (+4) growth. "Greater Madison Area" appeared as a brand-new location (didn't exist at all in the July 28 snapshot) and "Berlin Metropolitan Area, Germany" increased by exactly 2 — both point-for-point matches to Paul Evans (Madison) and Milena Petković + Simone Vadilonga (both Berlin) from the five additions above. This means these three almost certainly joined in the dashboard's already-tracked July 30–31 window, not August as originally assumed — their "Followed" dates are corrected to July 2026 in the Directory (108→108, no headcount change, only date attribution). Sabine E. Herlitschka (Austria) and Hitesh Dudhagara (India) remain dated August 2026: neither Austria's nor India's follower count changed at all between the July 28 and August 3 exports, consistent with them being genuinely more recent joins the weekly export data hasn't caught up to yet (LinkedIn's exports run 1–2 days behind real-time). One more real follower from this same July 30–31 window (matching Aachen, Hamburg, or Uppsala in the location diff) remains unidentified — those locations already had multiple pre-existing followers before this window, so a same-location delta there can't be confidently attributed to one specific person the way the brand-new Madison location could. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report reflect the full 108-follower set with all enrichment applied to date; the growth timeline is unaffected by this correction since both July and August fall within the same "2026 H2" half-year bucket.

Incremental update (2026-08-03, 108→110): two more new followers were added the same day, from freshly-screenshotted profiles. Alexander Rack (2nd degree, "Scientist @ European Synchrotron Radiation Facility | X-ray Imaging Development," also listing Technische Universität Berlin, personally in Grenoble, France) classifies as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute — ESRF is a major synchrotron facility, a direct sector peer to DESY, reinforcing this report's core finding even as a standalone entry (not yet part of the Notable Clusters table, since no other ESRF followers exist yet). France's country count increases from 2 to 3 as a result. Tina Schmidt (3rd degree, "Innovation Manager SAXFUSION | connecting the fusion ecosystem" at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), personal location only stated as "Germany," no specific city) classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Innovation/R&D Strategy, Academia/Research Institute — Medium confidence on geography, since her profile doesn't confirm Dresden specifically the way Alexander's confirms Grenoble. Checked both against the same July 28 vs. August 3 export diff used in the correction above: neither France (Montpellier, unchanged at 1) nor any Dresden-area location showed any change, so both are genuinely new, unconfirmed-date joins — dated August 2026 the same way, flagged the same way. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 110-follower set.

Date correction (2026-08-03, follow-up): the "one more real follower still unidentified" gap flagged in the correction above is resolved. The user reviewed LinkedIn's own followers list, ordered by actual follow date, which directly confirmed Sabine E. Herlitschka's real join month as July 2026, not August as previously assumed from indirect Location-export diffing. Her entry is corrected accordingly (110 to 110, no headcount change, only date attribution, same as the three-name correction above). This brings the Directory's July 2026 cohort to 22, matching the dashboard's own LinkedIn-sourced net new followers figure for July exactly. Hitesh Dudhagara stays dated August 2026, his entry checked against the same followers list and confirmed August there too. Peter Gaal, an existing follower previously dated March 2023, was also flagged by this same followers list as showing July 2026, but that correction is not applied yet, moving him would push the July count to 23 against the dashboard's confirmed 22, so it needs further review before changing.

Incremental update (2026-08-03, 110→111): one more new follower, Sinan Bubik (2nd degree, "Partner | Business Development" at ITU, personally in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, mutual connection with Peter), added the same day. ITU is Istanbul Technical University, verified via the profile's university-seal-style logo — a well-known, unambiguous institution, so High confidence on the company location (Istanbul, Turkey) despite his personal location being Germany. Classifies as C-Level/Founder (Partner-level seniority), Business Development/Sales, Academia/Research Institute. Turkey is a brand-new country in this dataset, not previously represented even in the "Other" bucket — the "Other" count grows from 13 to 14 distinct 1-follower countries as a result. Checked Munich in the same July 28 vs. August 3 export diff: unchanged at 9, confirming he isn't yet visible in any export, same pattern as the last two additions. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 111-follower set.

Data-integrity fix (2026-08-05/06): a bulk enrichment pass added a real LinkedIn profile URL to nearly every follower (110 of 111 now have one — the sole exception is the Page admin's own second entry, addressed below). This surfaced a pre-existing classification gap: the second Mckinley Black row (Data Governance Consultant, "1st" connection, added April 2026 — a distinct LinkedIn identity from the Page-admin "You" row, both confirmed by the user to be the same real person, tracked as two separate follows since that's how LinkedIn counts them) had never had a Company value set, so it mechanically fell into "Unknown (no company listed)" instead of TXproducts (internal), and had no country/city either. Per the user directly, this entry also works at TXproducts — Company, Sector, Country, and City were corrected accordingly (Hamburg, Germany, matching the company's other entries) so it wouldn't silently break the Geography section's "every named company has a resolved country" claim. Net effect: the Sector chart's TXproducts (internal) bucket moves 3→4, the "no company listed" pool moves 17→16 (94→95 followers with an identifiable employer), and Geography's Germany count moves 57→58. TXproducts itself now has 4 internal followers: CEO Daniel Schmidt, Marketing & Sales Manager Mckinley Black, Software Developer Aleksandra Kotenko, and this Data Governance Consultant row. Every affected percentage in the Sector and Geography sections (including the 62%→61% Germany and 33%→34% Hamburg figures) was recomputed against the new 95-person denominator; the overall 111-follower total is unchanged since this was a reclassification, not an addition.

Incremental update (2026-08-10, 111→112): one more new follower, Kirsty Paton (3rd degree, "Detector Scientist" at Synchrotron SOLEIL, personally in France, no specific city stated, 85 connections), added from a freshly-screenshotted profile. Synchrotron SOLEIL is a major French national synchrotron facility — a direct sector peer to DESY and ESRF, so this classifies as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, the same treatment as Alexander Rack's ESRF entry. Company location resolved with High confidence to Gif-sur-Yvette (SOLEIL's well-known, unambiguous campus near Paris) despite her personal location only stating "France." France's country count increases from 3 to 4. This week's fresh export (covering new-follower activity through 2026-08-08) independently confirmed exactly 4 net-new followers in August so far — matching the four already-dated August 2026 in this dataset (Hitesh Dudhagara, Alexander Rack, Tina Schmidt, Sinan Bubik) with no gap, resolving the export-lag concern flagged in earlier updates. Kirsty Paton's own follow date isn't yet visible in that export (same 1–2 day LinkedIn reporting lag as those four), so her "Followed" month is assumed to be August 2026, unconfirmed — flag if a future export shows otherwise. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 112-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-10, 112→116): four more new followers were added from freshly-screenshotted profiles the same day. Three show a shared "ITCareerHub.de" logo — a German IT career-retraining bootcamp — a brand-new cluster surfaced by this batch: Almira Tolstova (2nd degree, Frontend developer, Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg, mutual connection with Aleksandra Kotenko, TXproducts' own Software Developer — suggesting she came through the same program) classifies as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Other named company; Anna Maksakova (3rd degree, tagline-only "Data Analyst | Engineering & Manufacturing Background | Market & Operations Analytics," Berlin) classifies as Other Individual Contributor, Other, Other named company — "Data Analyst" doesn't cleanly match any Function keyword, an honest mechanical limitation rather than a manual override; Iryna Platonova (2nd degree, tagline-only "QA Engineer | Technical Application Support | IT Support Engineer | System Test Engineer | Commissioning Engineer," Germany, #OpenToWork) shows a second, primary company logo before ITCareerHub — "Dutch start-up," linked to umeter.nl — so her Company is set to UMeter (Medium confidence, inferred from the domain rather than an explicit company name on the card) rather than the bootcamp, classifying as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Other named company; the Netherlands becomes a country in its own right (1→2) as a result. The fourth, Harendra Mahto (2nd degree, tagline-only "Analytical Scientist | Protein & Proteomics Analytics | MALDI-TOF-MS & HPLC | Biopharmaceutical R&D," Aachen, #OpenToWork, mutual connection with Peter), lists LenioBio (a Fraunhofer-spinout cell-free protein-synthesis company, Düsseldorf) ahead of a University of Potsdam affiliation — per the same first-listed-logo precedent as Alice Autuori's Cycle GmbH, LenioBio is used as Company, classifying as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Medical/Life Sciences with High confidence on the Düsseldorf HQ. None of the four profile screenshots showed an explicit follow date, so all four default to August 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 116-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-11, 116→118): two more new followers, both mutual connections tied to existing entries. Dr. Palvan Seyidov (2nd degree, tagline-only "Dr. rer. nat., Physics - Semiconductor devices," Berlin, mutual connection with Peter) lists Nexperia ahead of a Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin affiliation — per the same first-listed-logo precedent used for Alice Autuori and Harendra Mahto, Nexperia is used as Company, classifying as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Semiconductor/Aerospace/Defense. Nexperia's official HQ is Nijmegen, Netherlands, but the company also runs a major fab in Hamburg — given his personal location is Berlin (not Nijmegen) and no stronger signal points either way, Country/City are set to Germany/Hamburg at Medium confidence rather than assuming the Dutch HQ. Vishnu Narayan Manoj Kumar (3rd degree, "Student Research Assistant at DESY | Working Student at Quest One | M.Sc. Physics," Hamburg) explicitly names DESY in his own tagline text, ahead of the Quest One and University of Hamburg logos shown on his card — his own words are treated as a stronger signal than logo order here, so Company is set to DESY (High confidence) rather than Quest One, classifying as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute. This makes him an 8th DESY-linked entry (7→8) and pushes the distinct Hamburg/DESY cluster count from 22 to 23 — updated throughout the Key Findings, Sector, Geography, and Notable Clusters sections, including the row-count/distinct-headcount arithmetic in the clusters table's own footnote. Neither profile screenshot showed an explicit follow date, so both default to August 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 118-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-17, 118→119): one more new follower, Bridget Murphy (2nd degree, Germany, mutual connections with Peter and Johannes among others). Her profile card initially showed a logo mismatch worth noting for future screenshot-only additions: her tagline read "Group leader at University of Kiel and at DESY," but the second logo shown was Dublin City University, not DESY. Checking her actual Experience section resolved it — her current, most senior role is literally "Group Leader DAPHNE in DESY Photon Science" at DESY (Aug 2024–present), alongside a long-standing tenured Senior Research Scientist / LISA Group Leader post at University of Kiel (2000–present); Dublin City University doesn't appear anywhere in her real Experience, so that logo was a rendering artifact, not a third real affiliation. DESY is used as Company (High confidence, matching the same treatment as every other DESY-affiliated entry), classifying as Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute. This makes her a 9th DESY-linked entry (8→9) and a 24th distinct Hamburg/DESY-cluster follower, and also adds to the C-level/Director/Senior-IC seniority bucket (28→29) since Group Leader is a senior title. No explicit follow date was shown, so August 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 119-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-17, 119→120): one more new follower, Maximilian F. (2nd degree, Zürich Metropolitan Area, mutual connection with Peter). His tagline read "Consultant at Inspiralia | Trinational Master Student," but his actual Experience section showed a more specific and current title, "Account Manager Switzerland" at Inspiralia (Jan 2025–present, based in Baden, Aargau, Switzerland) — used as Company/Position over the tagline's vaguer "Consultant," matching the same Experience-over-tagline precedent used for Bridget Murphy. Classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Business Development/Sales, Other named company (Inspiralia is an international innovation/technology-transfer consultancy, not a fit for any of the more specific sector categories). His Swiss work site (Baden, High confidence, directly stated in his Experience section) is a personal-location/employer-site split from his Zürich-area personal location, same pattern as several other entries in this report. Switzerland's country count increases from 4 to 5. No explicit follow date was shown, so August 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 120-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-24, 120→123): three more new followers, all from freshly-screenshotted profiles. Sabine Brock (2nd degree, "Industry Relations Manager & dep. CTO Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY," Hamburg, mutual connections with Peter, Johannes, and 6 others) classifies as Director/Head/Principal, Business Development/Sales, Academia/Research Institute — a 10th DESY-linked entry, and notable enough (dep. CTO) to also join the seniority section's named examples. Daniel Hernández Durán (2nd degree, "Ph.D. Candidate @DASHH, R&D for TEIDESAT," Hamburg, mutual connection with Johannes) shows both "Hamburg University of Technology" and "Technische Universität Hamburg" as logos, which are the same institution (TUHH) under its English and German names, not two separate affiliations — his tagline's DASHH (the Hamburg-area interdisciplinary Ph.D. school) is a program housed within that TUHH/DESY/Universität Hamburg consortium, not a separate employer, so TUHH is used as Company, classifying as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute; TUHH's Notable Clusters row moves 2→3. Yash Bhatia (2nd degree, He/Him, #OpenToWork, "Research assistant at Hannoversches Zentrum für Optische Technologien (HOT)," Hannover, Lower Saxony, mutual connection with Peter) lists a "Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD: Photonics, Optics..." logo and Universität Siegen, but his own tagline names HOT (a Lower Saxony state optics research center, PhoenixD-affiliated) as his actual employer — used as Company over the logo, classifying as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute; personally and by employer based in Hannover, not Hamburg, so he doesn't add to the Hamburg/DESY cluster despite the strong photonics-research fit. Germany's country count increases from 64 to 67; the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount increases from 24 to 26 (Sabine and Daniel only). None of the three profile screenshots showed an explicit follow date, so all three default to August 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 123-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-25, 123→124): one more new follower, Sourav Kumar (3rd degree, India). No company logo, no tagline text at all (just a blank placeholder under his name), and his About section is a Sanskrit verse rather than any career information; his Education (B.Tech, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Oriental Institute of Science & Technology, Nov 2021–Dec 2025) is the only real signal on the profile, and no current employer is stated anywhere. Classifies as Unknown seniority/function, Unknown (no company listed) sector, consistent with how other blank-profile followers are handled. His country (India) is directly stated even though his employer isn't, so he doesn't fall into the Geography chart's "No company listed" bucket, that bucket tracks blank country, not blank company, a distinction worth flagging since this update briefly conflated the two before the arithmetic was checked and corrected. India crosses the 2-follower threshold as a result (1→2) and gets its own row instead of folding into "Other." All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 124-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-08-31/09-01, 124→126): two more new followers. Ablimit Ablez (2nd degree, "Ph.D in Laser-Matter Interaction using Structured Lights, specialized in Micro/Nano Fabrication/Laser Processing/Laser systems, Two Photon Polymerization (2PP) Quality Assurance/Supplier Control in Medical Device," Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, mutual connections with Peter and Chandra Shekhar) names Chiba University as his only logo, but that's his Ph.D. alma mater, not a current employer, his tagline and banner ("Medical Manufacturing Is Our Business") both point to a current industry QA/manufacturing role, but no specific company is named anywhere on the card, so Company stays blank, classifying as Other Individual Contributor, Engineering/Technical, Unknown (no company listed) — his location did resolve the "no centroid for Los Angeles Metropolitan Area" console warning surfaced by this week's fresh export, now added to the location-country overrides. Cecilia Farias Marchant (2nd degree, "Senior Communications & Marketing Professional | M.A. Kommunikationswissenschaften," Greater Hamburg Area) lists DESY Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron ahead of Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (her degree-granting university), so DESY is used as Company per the established first-listed-logo precedent, classifying as Senior IC/Lead, Marketing/Comms/Ops, Academia/Research Institute — an 11th DESY-linked entry and a 27th distinct Hamburg/DESY-cluster follower. Neither profile screenshot showed an explicit follow date, so both default to August 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 126-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-14, 126→129): three more new followers. Niklas Meidow ("Product Engineer bei TXproducts," Hamburg, no connection degree shown) is confirmed internal — TXproducts' 5th internal follower, classifying as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, TXproducts (internal). Joo William (3rd degree, "Inha University Professor," South Korea) lists Inha University ahead of Seoul National University (his own alma mater, not current employer), classifying as Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, the same Professor-to-Director/Head/Principal precedent used for Paul Evans; the first South Korea-based follower in this dataset. Francesco Marzari (3rd degree, "PhD Student" at Università di Trento, Trento, Italy) classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, matching the PhD-candidate precedent set by Daniel Hernández Durán; Italy's country count increases from 1 to 2 and gets its own Geography row as a result. None of the three are Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked. None of the three profile screenshots showed an explicit follow date, so all three default to September 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 129-follower set.

Correction + incremental update (2026-09-14, 129→130): checking the count against LinkedIn's own "New followers" list (ordered by date) surfaced two things. First, a name-order correction: the entry added this same day as "Joo William" is actually William Joo (family name first in the earlier screenshot's card layout), with a fuller title now visible — "Chairman of KAMUG (Korean Additive Manufacturing User Group) Metal AM Roadmap 1.0; Professor" at Inha University — both name and position corrected in place, classification unchanged (Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute). Second, the same list surfaced a genuinely new follower not yet in this dataset: Davood Momeni (2nd degree, "Founder XDefine | Semiconductor reliability & advanced-material integration | SiC · WBG · 2D Materials," September 2026). Classifies as C-Level/Founder, Executive/Management, Semiconductor/Aerospace/Defense — consistent with how other semiconductor-sector founders/executives are handled. His profile card didn't initially show a location, so Country/City were briefly left blank rather than guessed, excluded from the Geography chart until confirmed. Resolved minutes later the same day: a follow-up screenshot of his full profile card showed "Greater Hamburg Area," so Country/City are now set to Germany/Hamburg, merging him back into the Geography chart (Germany 69→70, Hamburg 39→40) and restoring Geography's population to match Sector's exactly (112, both up from 111). All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 130-follower set with no open items remaining.

Incremental update (2026-09-17, 130→133): three more new followers. Kilian Frank (3rd degree, "PhD in physics from LMU Munich | X-ray scattering," Bavaria, #OpenToWork) names only Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as a logo, but that's his PhD alma mater per his own tagline wording, not a stated current employer, and no current company appears anywhere on the card — Company stays blank, classifying as Other Individual Contributor, Other, but flagged as "Likely research/photonics-adjacent (no company listed)" rather than plain Unknown, since "X-ray scattering" is directly relevant to TXproducts' own field, the same tagline-relevance precedent used for Marc Thiry. Rishabh Moolya (2nd degree, "Master's student in Physics, Universität Hamburg," Hamburg, mutual connection with Daniel) classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute — University of Hamburg's row in the Notable Clusters table moves 3→4. Artem Zaidman (2nd degree, "Research Assistant at DESY and PhD Student at University of Hamburg," Hamburg, mutual connections with Peter and Michael) explicitly names DESY ahead of a secondary RWTH Aachen University logo, so DESY is used as Company per the established tagline-over-logo precedent, classifying as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute.

Auditing the Notable Clusters table while adding these three surfaced a pre-existing drift, worth documenting rather than quietly patching: the DESY row's count (10) had been correct since Cecilia Farias Marchant's addition, but her role was never actually added to the row's descriptive note, and the distinct-headcount/row-sum footnote had accumulated a genuine error (claiming two cross-row dual-affiliations when only one exists, Timo Christian, DESY & Impossible Founders; the footnote's second claimed dual, "DESY and University of Hamburg," doesn't correspond to any current entry). The DESY row's note was rewritten from the underlying data directly (all 10 people's real positions) rather than patched, and the footnote corrected: row counts now sum to 29, one genuine dual-affiliation (Timo Christian), distinct headcount 28 (was incorrectly stated as 26). Germany's country count increases from 70 to 73 (all three are Germany-based). None of the three profile screenshots showed an explicit follow date, so all three default to September 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 133-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-18, 133→134): one more new follower, Bernhard H. (2nd degree, tagline "Providing synchrotron-based analyses as a service to industry and academia," Berlin, mutual connections with Peter, Johannes, and 3 others). His employer, XPLORAYTION GmbH, is a striking match for TXproducts' own space, a private company selling synchrotron-beamtime-based analysis as a service, the same business-model category TXproducts itself operates in (and one this dataset has independently surfaced once before, via Bernd Hinrichsen/Momentum Transfer, a name-lookup task rather than a follower). No explicit personal title is stated, so Seniority stays Other Individual Contributor rather than assuming a founder/executive role from the company-pitch-style tagline alone; classifies as Business Development/Sales, Other named company. His Berlin location is directly stated on his own profile (High confidence for his personal location), but the company's actual HQ isn't independently confirmed, so Geography confidence is marked Medium rather than High, consistent with how other personal-location-assumed-as-company-location cases have been handled. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 134-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-20, 134→136): two more new followers. Tinka Spehr-Bechmann (2nd degree, "Wissenschaftsmanagerin bei DESY Projektträger," Hamburg, mutual connections with Johannes and Michael) lists DESY Projektträger as her employer — a distinct project-funding management entity from DESY research itself, but still a DESY-family organization, so it folds into the "DESY (any form)" cluster (10→11) the same way DESY Innovation Factory and other DESY-affiliated spin-offs already do; classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Marketing/Comms/Ops, Academia/Research Institute, matching the plain "Manager"-title precedent (Timo Christian, Johannes Blum) rather than the "Head of"-qualified Director/Head/Principal precedent (Maike Schroeder), since her title carries no seniority qualifier. Dr. Ravinder Reddy Mogulla (connection degree not shown on card, "Sr.Dy. General Manager at Bharat Electronics Limited," Hyderabad, Telangana, India) classifies as Director/Head/Principal, Executive/Management, Semiconductor/Aerospace/Defense — Bharat Electronics is an Indian state-owned defense-electronics PSU, and a senior General Manager title there is treated as department-head-equivalent, the same tier as "Head of..." titles elsewhere in this dataset; India's country count increases from 2 to 3. Neither new follower has a blank company or blank personal location. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 136-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-21, 136→137): one more new follower, Pradeep Kumar V. (3rd degree, tagline "Systemadministrator (Windows | Linux | Azure | VMware) 5+ Jahre Erfahrung | IT-Infrastruktur | Netzwerk & Cloud | 700+ Benutzer Support," Greater Bremen Area). No employer is named anywhere on the card — Company stays blank, classifying as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Unknown (no company listed); not flagged "Likely research/photonics-adjacent" since general IT systems administration has no direct connection to TXproducts' own field, unlike the X-ray/photonics-adjacent no-company cases (Kilian Frank, Marc Thiry). Germany's country count increases from 75 to 76. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 137-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-22, 137→138): one more new follower, Tim Kokerbeck (2nd degree, "Nanoscience M.Sc. student at the University of Hamburg," Hamburg, mutual connection with Peter). University of Hamburg's logo appears twice on his card (once for the degree, once presumably for a university-affiliated role), but nothing beyond the stated M.Sc. program is named, so Company is set to University of Hamburg at High confidence, classifying as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute — matching the plain-university precedent (not a working-partner one) already established for other Uni Hamburg students (Jan-Christian Schober, Rishabh Moolya). This makes him the University of Hamburg row's 5th linked entry (4→5) in the Notable Clusters table, and the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount increases from 29 to 30. Germany's country count increases from 76 to 77. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 138-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-23, 138→139): one more new follower, Antonio Cillis (2nd degree, "Data and AI engineer" at INFOMOTION GmbH, personally in Berlin, mutual connection with Peter). INFOMOTION is a German data/AI/BI consultancy, not a fit for any of TXproducts' more specific sector categories, so it classifies as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Other named company; not Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked. A web lookup confirmed INFOMOTION's actual HQ is Frankfurt am Main, not Berlin — his own profile only shows his personal location, so Company City is set to Frankfurt am Main (Medium confidence, same personal-location-vs-employer-HQ split as Rajkumar Rengaraj and Maximilian F.) while Personal Location stays Berlin, Germany. Germany's country count increases from 77 to 78. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 139-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-09-24, 139→140): one more new follower, Nima Amousa (2nd degree, "Doctoral Researcher at HZB | Advanced Ceramics, 2D Materials, MXene," Berlin, mutual connection with Peter). Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) is explicitly named in his own tagline text and matches the first logo shown, High confidence; classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, and Industry maps to Research & Collaborations, matching the existing HZB precedent (Simone Vadilonga). Not Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked (HZB is Berlin-based). Germany's country count increases from 78 to 79. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 140-follower set.

Cross-track sync + incremental update (2026-09-30, 140→147): the End of Month Report session (track #6, shares this codebase) added 5 followers directly to the Directory on 2026-09-27 while auditing post likes/comments (Arunangshu Debnath, Simon Sebold, Martin Uhlig, Chen Shen, Philipp Brandt), correctly flagging in each record that full classification was still pending. This session completed that classification via web research: Philipp Brandt (Innovation Manager, Hi-Acts/DESY — a second Hi-Acts Innovation Manager alongside Johannes Blum, confirmed a real distinct person via his own LinkedIn profile, not a duplicate) classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Innovation/R&D Strategy, Academia/Research Institute; Arunangshu Debnath (Scientist, Quantum Dynamics/Nonlinear Optics/Quantum Imaging, DESY) and Chen Shen (Scientist, X-ray/Neutron Scattering, PETRA III Beamline P08, DESY) both classify as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute; Simon Sebold (PhD Researcher, Advanced Materials Group, Technische Universität München/Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum) classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute — the same TUM/MLZ affiliation flagged in an earlier name-lookup task this session, now confirmed as an actual follower. Martin Uhlig could not be confidently classified: two real, different DESY-adjacent Hamburg candidates exist (a DESY strategy-group scientist-manager and a Fraunhofer CAN researcher) with no way to confirm which one followed the page, so his record stays unclassified rather than guessed. LinkedIn URLs could not be confidently confirmed for Arunangshu Debnath (two distinct candidate profiles), Simon Sebold, Chen Shen, or Martin Uhlig — flagged as an open gap. Separately, two new followers were added from fresh screenshots: Namrata Sharma (2nd degree, "Experimental Materials Scientist | Electrochemistry | Operando Characterization | Scientific Instrumentation," Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, Berlin, mutual connection with Peter) classifies as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute; Renske M. van der Veen (2nd degree, "Professor at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin and Technical University Berlin," Berlin, mutual connections with Peter and Michael) classifies as Director/Head/Principal, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, matching the established Professor-as-Director/Head/Principal precedent (Paul Evans, William Joo). Both use Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin as Company (first-listed logo, matches Nima Amousa's existing HZB precedent), bringing HZB to 3 followers total — a new, genuine research-institute cluster, tracked in the Notable Clusters exclusion note since it's Berlin-based, not Hamburg/DESY-tied. DESY (any form) increases from 11 to 14 linked entries (Philipp Brandt, Arunangshu Debnath, Chen Shen); the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount increases from 30 to 33. Germany's country count increases from 79 to 85 across all 7 additions. Along the way, two long-stale figures were caught and corrected: the "1st-degree connections" stat had read 7%/93% for several additions running when the live data actually rounds to 5%/95% at this total — fixed throughout. A separate "Research/Engineering readers" percentage (38%, in the messaging-takeaway section) could not be reconciled against any combination of live Function or Seniority fields at any point in this report's history and is flagged as a likely stale/unverifiable figure, not recomputed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 147-follower set.

Correction (2026-09-30, same day): the 5 classifications above (Philipp Brandt, Arunangshu Debnath, Simon Sebold, Chen Shen, Martin Uhlig) were built on a contaminated Directory state — the End of Month Report session had added them straight from post-engagement audits (likes/comments) without verifying actual follow status, and at least one (Arunangshu Debnath) was directly confirmed to not follow the Page. All 5 have been moved out of the Directory into
outreach_contacts.py
, where engaged-non-follower records belong, per that file's own scope. Namrata Sharma and Renske M. van der Veen are confirmed genuine followers and were unaffected. This report has been fully recomputed against the corrected 142-follower set (140 baseline + those 2 real additions) — every chart and percentage above now reflects that, not the 147-follower figures this same log entry originally described. Re-checked the two figures flagged as drifted/unreconcilable in that entry: "1st-degree connections" correctly returns to 6%/94% at 142 (the 5%/95% figures were artifacts of the contaminated 147 count, not a genuine drift); the "Research/Engineering readers 38%" figure still can't be reconciled against any live Function/Seniority combination at 142 either — remains flagged as a likely stale, pre-existing figure unrelated to this correction. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 142-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-01, 142→143): one more new follower, Mike Jin (connection degree not shown on card, verified/ID-badge profile, "MBA Candidate at Harvard Business School," Boston, Massachusetts, "Open to work"). No connection degree was visible, so it's left blank rather than guessed, same treatment as other undated/unlabeled cards. Classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute — a plain-university case (Industry: Academia), not a working-partner one, consistent with other student followers. United States' country count increases from 7 to 8. No explicit follow date was shown, so September 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. Also corrected this update: the long-standing "X (13%) are students or trainees" figure in the Key Findings/messaging-takeaway sections was finally traced to its actual source — it's Seniority Student/Trainee plus Postdoc/PhD Researcher combined, not Student/Trainee alone (confirmed by the math lining up exactly at this and the prior addition); relabeled accordingly so it's no longer an opaque figure. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 143-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-02, 143→144): one more new follower, Ephrem Pius (2nd degree, "Working student @ Lehmann + Partner GmbH," Erfurt, Thuringia, mutual connections with Peter and vaishakh). A web lookup confirmed LEHMANN + PARTNER GmbH (Erfurt-headquartered, matching his personal location exactly, High confidence) is a transportation-infrastructure surveying/road-asset-management firm, not a photonics/research company — classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Other named company (Industry: Other, industryOther "Transportation Infrastructure Surveying/Road Asset Management"); his secondary logo, Leibniz Universität Hannover, is his degree-granting university, not his current employer, consistent with the Experience-over-tagline precedent. Germany's country count increases from 81 to 82. No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 144-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-19, 144→145): one more new follower, Hans Christian Wille (2nd degree, "Physicist at DESY," Greater Hamburg Area, mutual connections with Peter, Johannes, and 2 others). DESY is explicitly named in his own tagline and matches the first logo shown, High confidence; classifies as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, and Industry maps to Research & Collaborations per the standard DESY precedent. This makes him a 12th DESY-linked entry (11→12) and pushes the distinct Hamburg/DESY cluster count from 30 to 31. Germany's country count increases from 82 to 83. No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 145-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-19, 145→147): two more new followers. banafsheh aghvami (2nd degree, "student in Technical university of Chemnitz," Chemnitz, Saxony, mutual connection with Peter) classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute (Industry: Academia, a plain-university case, consistent with other student followers). Svenja Hövelmann (2nd degree, "Detector engineer at X-Spectrum GmbH," personally in Wedel, Schleswig-Holstein, mutual connection with Peter) classifies as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Photonics/Laser/Optics Industry (Industry: Photonics/Laser/Optics) — X-Spectrum's Company City is set to Hamburg to match the existing record (Julian Schmehr, CEO), not her personal location, same personal-location-vs-employer-HQ split as Rajkumar Rengaraj/Maximilian F./Antonio Cillis; Personal Location stays Wedel. This makes Svenja X-Spectrum's 2nd follower, newly crossing the Notable Clusters table's 2-follower threshold — added as a new row (a genuine 9th Hamburg/DESY-tied institution, not excluded like Umicore/ITCareerHub/HZB), bringing the cluster's distinct headcount from 31 to 33. Germany's country count increases from 83 to 85 across both additions. Neither follower had an explicit follow date shown, so both default to October 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 147-follower set.

Re-add (2026-10-20, 147→148): Philipp Brandt — one of the 5 contaminated records removed on 2026-09-30 (see Correction entry above) — has now officially joined as a genuine LinkedIn follower, confirmed directly by Mckinley, and is re-added to the Directory. Same classification as before the correction (Innovation Manager, Hi‑Acts/DESY; a second Hi-Acts Innovation Manager alongside Johannes Blum): Manager/Coordinator, Innovation/R&D Strategy, Academia/Research Institute, Company DESY, Hamburg, Germany, 2nd degree. This makes him a 13th DESY-linked entry (12→13) and pushes the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount from 33 to 34 (27% of the 128 named-company followers, up from 26%). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. Also pushed into Twenty CRM (Person + link to the existing DESY Company record,
source=LINKEDIN
,
isLinkedinFollower=true
) — his prior Twenty record from before the correction was fully gone (hard-removed, not recoverable as a soft-delete), so this is a fresh create, not a restore. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 148-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-21, 148→149): one more new follower, Helena Krutošíková (2nd degree, "Partnership & Internship manager" at ITCareerHub, Bratislava Metropolitan Area, Slovakia, mutual connections with Aleksandra and Zoia). Her card initially showed a pending Accept/Ignore connection request rather than a followed-profile view like other additions — confirmed directly by Mckinley as an actual Page follower before adding. Classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Business Development/Sales, Other named company (Industry: Other, industryOther "IT Training / Career Bootcamp") — same treatment as the two existing ITCareerHub.de followers (Almira Tolstova, Anna Maksakova), Company Country Germany per that bootcamp's HQ, Personal Location kept as her own Bratislava-based card text rather than guessed. This makes ITCareerHub.de a 3-follower cluster, still excluded from the Notable Clusters table (unrelated to the Hamburg/DESY ecosystem, same reasoning as Umicore/HZB). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 149-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-21, 149→150): one more new follower, Ajit Seth (2nd degree, He/Him, "Postdoctoral Researcher @ Kiel University and Deutsches-Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)," Germany, mutual connections with Peter and Daniel). Kiel University is the only logo shown on the card, but his own tagline explicitly names DESY as a joint affiliation — per the established own-words-over-logo precedent (Vishnu Narayan Manoj Kumar, Artem Zaidman), Company is set to DESY rather than Kiel University, City/Country set to Hamburg/Germany to match, with Personal Location kept as the card's plain "Germany." Classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, Industry: Research & Collaborations. This makes him a 14th DESY-linked entry (13→14) and pushes the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount from 34 to 35 (still 27% of named-company followers, now of 130 rather than 128). Also corrected in this same pass: the "students/trainees or postdoc/PhD researchers" combined figure in the Key Findings and messaging-takeaway sections had drifted to a stale "20" sometime after the 2026-10-01 Mike Jin fix that first established the Student/Trainee + Postdoc/PhD Researcher formula — recomputed directly from the live chart data (13 + 9) to the correct 22 (15%). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 150-follower set.

Correction (2026-10-21, 150→149, later reversed): the End of Month Report session (track #6, shares this codebase) stated that Mckinley had confirmed Alice Autuori does not actually follow the Page, despite an existing Directory entry (followedSort 2023-04) claiming otherwise. She was moved out of the Directory into
outreach_contacts.py
with her engagement history preserved, and this report was recomputed to 149. While doing that recompute directly from live Directory data (not decremented by hand) rather than just patching numbers, a separate, pre-existing drift unrelated to Alice was also caught and fixed: the Geography chart's Germany/United States/India counts and its "No company listed" bucket had gone stale (Germany 88→85, US 8→7, India 3→2, No-company-listed 16→20) — that fix is retained below even though the Alice removal itself was not (see next entry).

Reversal (2026-10-23, 149→150): Mckinley confirmed directly, independent of the above, that Alice Autuori does follow the Page — contradicting the confirmation track #6's commit attributed to Mckinley on 2026-10-21. Given the conflict, Mckinley checked her LinkedIn profile directly and confirmed her as a genuine follower; she has been restored to the Directory with her original record (Unknown seniority, Unknown function, Other named company — Cycle GmbH, 2nd degree, Germany/Hamburg DESY-campus/Start-Up Labs Bahrenfeld, followed since the 2023 H1 launch burst) and removed from
outreach_contacts.py
. Cycle GmbH is restored to the sector/geography messaging-takeaway company lists. While re-verifying every figure against live data for this reversal, one more pre-existing drift (unrelated to Alice either way) was caught: the "no usable title (tagline-only)" count had been stale at 19 for some time — the live data puts it at 20 (13%), which is what's reflected now. The Geography-chart drift fix from the correction above (Germany/US/India/no-company) remains in place since it was independently verified against source data, not tied to Alice's status either way. All six charts, the stat tiles, and every count/percentage above now reflect the verified 150-follower / 130-named-company state. Also restored: Alice's Twenty CRM record (pending — the Twenty connector was unavailable at the time of this reversal, see next session).

Incremental update (2026-10-26, 150→151): one more new follower, Nikesh Rajput (3rd degree, He/Him, "Stamp 4 | Printed Circuit Board | Electronics | Supply Chain Manager | Procurement | Sales & Marketing" at ECS Circuits Limited, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland). ECS Circuits Limited is the first-listed, verified-link logo on his profile (a secondary "IOB" logo shown but not used, unclear affiliation); classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Other, Other named company — "Supply Chain Manager / Procurement" doesn't cleanly match any Function keyword, the same honest mechanical-limitation case as Anna Maksakova's "Data Analyst" (Industry: Other, industryOther "Printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing, electronics supply chain and procurement"). Ireland becomes a new country in this dataset (previously absent), folding into the "Other (1 each)" bucket, now 13 countries. Not Hamburg/DESY-cluster-linked. No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 151-follower set.
