Correct Study page for Alice Autuori removal (150->149)
Track #6 confirmed Alice Autuori doesn't actually follow the Page and
moved her out of the Directory into outreach_contacts.py (commit
3527401), but the Study page was never recomputed to match - it still
reflected the stale 150-follower state.
Fully recomputed all six charts and prose directly from the live
Directory data rather than hand-decrementing, which also caught a
pre-existing drift unrelated to Alice: the Geography chart's Germany/
US/India counts and its "No company listed" bucket had gone stale.

Notable organizational clusters

Named organizations appearing more than once in the 127 followers with company data — the strongest evidence of a real-world ecosystem effect rather than coincidence. This table nearly doubled after the latest rounds of profile re-screenshotting: from 5 institutions/12 distinct people to 8 institutions/22 distinct people. (Umicore also now has 2 followers, but it's a Belgian materials company with no Hamburg/DESY tie, so it's excluded from this specific table — coincidental multinational overlap, not local-ecosystem clustering. ITCareerHub.de, a German IT-retraining bootcamp, also now has 2 followers (Almira Tolstova, Anna Maksakova, added 2026-08-10) — excluded for the same reason: a real 2-follower cluster, but a career-training platform unrelated to the Hamburg/DESY photonics ecosystem this table specifically tracks. Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin now has 4 followers (a postdoc, a doctoral researcher, an experimental materials scientist, and a professor) — a genuine, growing research-institute cluster, but excluded for the same reason as Umicore/ITCareerHub: it's Berlin-based, not part of the Hamburg/DESY local ecosystem this table specifically tracks. ESRF, HZDR, and ITU, all added 2026-08-03, are each single-follower institutions so far — not yet part of this table, though ESRF in particular is another major synchrotron facility peer to DESY, reinforcing the sector-clustering pattern even as a standalone entry.)

Incremental update (2026-10-02, 143→144): one more new follower, Ephrem Pius (2nd degree, "Working student @ Lehmann + Partner GmbH," Erfurt, Thuringia, mutual connections with Peter and vaishakh). A web lookup confirmed LEHMANN + PARTNER GmbH (Erfurt-headquartered, matching his personal location exactly, High confidence) is a transportation-infrastructure surveying/road-asset-management firm, not a photonics/research company — classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Other named company (Industry: Other, industryOther "Transportation Infrastructure Surveying/Road Asset Management"); his secondary logo, Leibniz Universität Hannover, is his degree-granting university, not his current employer, consistent with the Experience-over-tagline precedent. Germany's country count increases from 81 to 82. No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 144-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-19, 144→145): one more new follower, Hans Christian Wille (2nd degree, "Physicist at DESY," Greater Hamburg Area, mutual connections with Peter, Johannes, and 2 others). DESY is explicitly named in his own tagline and matches the first logo shown, High confidence; classifies as Researcher/Scientist (non-postdoc), Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, and Industry maps to Research & Collaborations per the standard DESY precedent. This makes him a 12th DESY-linked entry (11→12) and pushes the distinct Hamburg/DESY cluster count from 30 to 31. Germany's country count increases from 82 to 83. No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 145-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-19, 145→147): two more new followers. banafsheh aghvami (2nd degree, "student in Technical university of Chemnitz," Chemnitz, Saxony, mutual connection with Peter) classifies as Student/Trainee, Student/Academic Track, Academia/Research Institute (Industry: Academia, a plain-university case, consistent with other student followers). Svenja Hövelmann (2nd degree, "Detector engineer at X-Spectrum GmbH," personally in Wedel, Schleswig-Holstein, mutual connection with Peter) classifies as Engineer/Developer, Engineering/Technical, Photonics/Laser/Optics Industry (Industry: Photonics/Laser/Optics) — X-Spectrum's Company City is set to Hamburg to match the existing record (Julian Schmehr, CEO), not her personal location, same personal-location-vs-employer-HQ split as Rajkumar Rengaraj/Maximilian F./Antonio Cillis; Personal Location stays Wedel. This makes Svenja X-Spectrum's 2nd follower, newly crossing the Notable Clusters table's 2-follower threshold — added as a new row (a genuine 9th Hamburg/DESY-tied institution, not excluded like Umicore/ITCareerHub/HZB), bringing the cluster's distinct headcount from 31 to 33. Germany's country count increases from 83 to 85 across both additions. Neither follower had an explicit follow date shown, so both default to October 2026, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 147-follower set.

Re-add (2026-10-20, 147→148): Philipp Brandt — one of the 5 contaminated records removed on 2026-09-30 (see Correction entry above) — has now officially joined as a genuine LinkedIn follower, confirmed directly by Mckinley, and is re-added to the Directory. Same classification as before the correction (Innovation Manager, Hi‑Acts/DESY; a second Hi-Acts Innovation Manager alongside Johannes Blum): Manager/Coordinator, Innovation/R&D Strategy, Academia/Research Institute, Company DESY, Hamburg, Germany, 2nd degree. This makes him a 13th DESY-linked entry (12→13) and pushes the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount from 33 to 34 (27% of the 128 named-company followers, up from 26%). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. Also pushed into Twenty CRM (Person + link to the existing DESY Company record,
source=LINKEDIN
,
isLinkedinFollower=true
) — his prior Twenty record from before the correction was fully gone (hard-removed, not recoverable as a soft-delete), so this is a fresh create, not a restore. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 148-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-21, 148→149): one more new follower, Helena Krutošíková (2nd degree, "Partnership & Internship manager" at ITCareerHub, Bratislava Metropolitan Area, Slovakia, mutual connections with Aleksandra and Zoia). Her card initially showed a pending Accept/Ignore connection request rather than a followed-profile view like other additions — confirmed directly by Mckinley as an actual Page follower before adding. Classifies as Manager/Coordinator, Business Development/Sales, Other named company (Industry: Other, industryOther "IT Training / Career Bootcamp") — same treatment as the two existing ITCareerHub.de followers (Almira Tolstova, Anna Maksakova), Company Country Germany per that bootcamp's HQ, Personal Location kept as her own Bratislava-based card text rather than guessed. This makes ITCareerHub.de a 3-follower cluster, still excluded from the Notable Clusters table (unrelated to the Hamburg/DESY ecosystem, same reasoning as Umicore/HZB). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 149-follower set.

Incremental update (2026-10-21, 149→150): one more new follower, Ajit Seth (2nd degree, He/Him, "Postdoctoral Researcher @ Kiel University and Deutsches-Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)," Germany, mutual connections with Peter and Daniel). Kiel University is the only logo shown on the card, but his own tagline explicitly names DESY as a joint affiliation — per the established own-words-over-logo precedent (Vishnu Narayan Manoj Kumar, Artem Zaidman), Company is set to DESY rather than Kiel University, City/Country set to Hamburg/Germany to match, with Personal Location kept as the card's plain "Germany." Classifies as Postdoc/PhD Researcher, Research/Science, Academia/Research Institute, Industry: Research & Collaborations. This makes him a 14th DESY-linked entry (13→14) and pushes the Hamburg/DESY cluster's distinct headcount from 34 to 35 (still 27% of named-company followers, now of 130 rather than 128). Also corrected in this same pass: the "students/trainees or postdoc/PhD researchers" combined figure in the Key Findings and messaging-takeaway sections had drifted to a stale "20" sometime after the 2026-10-01 Mike Jin fix that first established the Student/Trainee + Postdoc/PhD Researcher formula — recomputed directly from the live chart data (13 + 9) to the correct 22 (15%). No explicit follow date was shown, so October 2026 is assumed, unconfirmed. All totals, percentages, and charts in this report now reflect the full 150-follower set.

Correction (2026-10-21, 150→149): the End of Month Report session (track #6, shares this codebase) confirmed directly with Mckinley that Alice Autuori does not actually follow the Page, despite an existing Directory entry (followedSort 2023-04) claiming otherwise — the same engagement-does-not-imply-follower mistake as the September contamination, caught independently this time by that session's own campaign audit. She was moved out of the Directory into
outreach_contacts.py
with her engagement history preserved. She was Unknown seniority, Unknown function, Other named company (Cycle GmbH, her only listed company in this dataset, now removed from the sector/geography messaging-takeaway company lists since it has zero followers left), 2nd degree, Germany/Hamburg, followed since the 2023 H1 launch burst. This report has been fully recomputed against the live Directory data (not decremented by hand) to catch any other drift at the same time — and found one, pre-existing and unrelated to Alice: the Geography chart's Germany/United States/India counts and its "No company listed" bucket had drifted stale (Germany 88→85, US 8→7, India 3→2, No-company-listed 16→20, the last of which hadn't tracked the real no-company count in some time). All six charts, the stat tiles, and every count/percentage referencing a 150 or 130 denominator above now reflect the verified 149-follower / 129-named-company state.
